Subway isn't waiting for November to celebrate National Sandwich Day.
The chain has moved the holiday up a week to Tuesday, October 27, to avoid a clash with Election Day, and it's marking the occasion with a buy-one-get-one-free Footlong deal and the return of two fan-favorite items.
The BOGO Footlong Deal
From October 27 through November 8, Sub Club members can get a free Footlong with the purchase of another Footlong. The free sandwich has to be of equal or lesser price, and the offer covers both regular Footlongs and Subway Series sandwiches. It's automatically added to the member's wallet in the Subway app.
How to Claim It
The deal is available to current and new Sub Club members, and it only works on online or app orders placed at participating U.S. restaurants. If you aren't a member, you can join for free through the Subway app or website. The offer doesn't apply to third-party delivery, catering, or gift card purchases.
A Sub That's Been Gone Since 2014
The returning Fritos Chicken Enchilada Sub features rotisserie-style chicken marinated in enchilada sauce, crunchy Fritos corn chips, and smoky Baja Chipotle sauce, with Monterey Cheddar cheese, shredded lettuce, sliced tomatoes, and red onions. It was last on menus in 2014, and Subway's chief marketing officer said fans and franchisees have been asking for it to come back.
A Cookie Returns Too
The Caramel Apple Cookie is also back for the first time since 2021. Both returning items are available for a limited time.
Where and When to Get It
Everything is available starting today at participating Subway locations nationwide. The BOGO deal runs through November 8, so it also covers the traditional National Sandwich Day on November 3.
The Takeaway
With the deal running for almost two weeks, there's plenty of time to bring a friend or save the free Footlong for tomorrow's lunch. Just make sure you place your order through the app or website, since in-store orders don't qualify.
