A Thanksgiving centerpiece that comes with the cooking already done is back on the menu.
Popeyes is bringing back its Cajun-Style Turkey for the 2026 holiday season. Orders opened October 19, and this year it's pickup only.
What You're Getting
The turkey weighs about 11 to 13 pounds and is meant to serve 8 to 12 people when paired with sides. It's marinated and seasoned with Popeyes' signature Cajun spices, then fully cooked and frozen. All you have to do is thaw it, reheat it, and serve it.
Pricing
The suggested price is $59.99, which is about $5 higher than last year's starting price. Prices may vary by location. At grocery stores, which set their own prices, the turkey is expected to range from $59.99 to $69.99.
How to Order It
You can order through the Popeyes app or website, or in person at participating restaurants. Orders run through November 19, and pickup began on October 23. You choose your pickup date when you place your order. Popeyes says orders can't be canceled and pickup windows can't be changed in the app, so it's worth picking your date carefully.
No Shipping This Year
Unlike last year, Popeyes isn't shipping the turkey to your door or offering delivery. Every order is for pickup at the restaurant you choose.
Another Way to Buy It
The turkey is also available at participating Kroger-family stores, including Dillons, Fred Meyer, Food 4 Less, Fry's, King Soopers, QFC, Roundy's, and Smith's, in select markets across 33 states.
Rounding Out the Meal
Popeyes is promoting its Homestyle Mac & Cheese, Mashed Potatoes with Cajun Gravy, and biscuits as sides. The turkey's packaging also includes instructions for making gravy from the pan drippings.
The Takeaway
If you want a Thanksgiving main that doesn't tie up your oven or your morning, this is an easy option. It's only available for a limited time and availability varies by restaurant, so it's worth ordering well ahead of the holiday.
