Starbucks Launches New Aerocano and Mini Pies

Starbucks Launches New Aerocano and Mini Pies

Healthy Fact of the Day

Pairing a specialty coffee drink with a mini dessert can add up in added sugar faster than either item would on its own. To keep things balanced, consider ordering the Aerocano with fewer or no added syrups since the drink itself is already a flavor upgrade, and treat the Mini Pie as an occasional treat rather than a daily pairing with your coffee order.

Starbucks isn't just leaning into Halloween this fall. The chain is also refreshing its everyday coffee lineup and introducing a new bite-sized dessert category.

Starting Tuesday, September 29, Starbucks is rolling out a new Aerocano drink alongside three new Mini Pies, giving both coffee and dessert fans something fresh to try.

A New Twist on the Americano

The Aerocano takes the classic iced Americano and gives it a textured makeover. Built with the chain's Blonde Espresso, water, and ice, the drink is air-whipped to create a light foam layer and what Starbucks describes as a cascading visual effect. It's a subtle but noticeable departure from the standard Americano's flat, straightforward look.

Three New Mini Pies

Rounding out the launch is a new lineup of seasonal Mini Pies, available in three flavors. The Apple Crumble Mini Pie features apples paired with a buttery streusel topping, while the Pecan Mini Pie combines toasted pecans with a caramelized sweetness. The Pumpkin Mini Pie rounds things out with a creamy pumpkin filling and warm fall spices.

Why This Launch Stands Out

Between the visual twist on a coffeehouse staple and a trio of fall-flavored, individually portioned desserts, this release gives Starbucks regulars a couple of easy ways to switch up their usual order without committing to a full slice of pie or a heavily modified drink.

Where and When to Get It

Both the Aerocano and the three Mini Pie flavors launch on September 29 at Starbucks locations, giving fall coffee and dessert fans a new addition to work into their rotation.

The Takeaway

Whether you're drawn in by the Aerocano's unique texture or looking for a smaller-portioned way to enjoy classic pie flavors, Starbucks' latest lineup offers a couple of low-commitment ways to try something new this season.
